I’m thinking in two directions.
The first is a better working light for the desk. We need more light if we work with paper and less light if we work with screens. Most of us have to work with both at the same time. Usual desk lamps aren’t the best solution in my opinion, because they need much space on your desk and also affect your screen every time.
For this reasons I’m looking for a new flexible position system for light on the desk. The first idea is a plexi plate that is fixed on the ceiling and positionable LEDs on top of it. The LEDs should be movable from the bottom with magnets. But the flexibility of the LEDs is very limited by the shape of the plexi plate. I’m still looking for a better solution.

The second direction is to bring the sun in your room as you like. It’s not just the Philips wake-up light that imitates the sunrise in the morning. It’s your whole room or house. The light in your room keeps you awake and motivated in the morning, midday and evening and leads you in a comfortable and relaxed mood, when you have planned to go to bed.

The challenge is to find a solution that fits in every room.
Maybe I’m able to combine both directions in the end.
