Some days before the final presentation I could finally start building my lamp. I sawed, formed and welded sheet metal and got it into a Z shape. I sewed the foam onto the upper arm of the Z with a green thick thread. I painted it all black but the thread as a highlight to underline its job. ‘Loewenzahn’ is German and means ‘dandelion’ since that is the shape the shadow got. With my design I am putting the focus on the beautiful and fascinating shadow.
